How do we pay for our operations?
The Oakdene Park Community Garden Association of Kentville (OPCGAK) sustains its operations through a combination of grants, community-based fundraising, and donations. Grant funding supports core programs, infrastructure, and accessibility improvements, while yard sales and other grassroots fundraising activities provide flexible income for day-to-day operating needs. Community members, partners, and supporters can contribute in several ways, including in-person donations at garden events or by e-transfer to donations@opcgak.ca. Together, these funding sources help ensure OPCGAK remains volunteer-led, financially sustainable, and responsive to community priorities.
